Manual Gas Shut Off Valve (Dual Purpose)
The finest American made vertical Earthquake Gas Shut-off Valves come in the 1-1/4" size for homes that may have been upgraded for swimming pool heaters and hot tubs that require more volume of gas. They also come in 1" and 3/4" for homes requiring a lesser volume and are easily installed by a plumber in about an hour. Even some handy home owners have installed them themselves. They are to be installed between the meter and the house. The valve is easy to manually reset (turn back On after the quake) after it has been confirmed that there are no gas leaks.
